University of Warsaw

The Faculty of Education of the University of Warsaw, an ISOTIS partner institution, will hold an international conference with the theme "SUPPORTING THE WELLBEING OF CHILDREN AND YOUTH – interdisciplinary perspective". Institutions and organizations working in the area of children and young people wellbeing support will be presented. Practitioners from Warsaw institutions are invited to share their experience, achievements, suggestions, and solutions.


Thematic categories include:


I. IMPROVING THE WELLBEING OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN NEED

  • The history and development of child care systems
  • Innovative forms of assistance and support for children and families at risk
  • Problems of child care and family support
  • Cooperation of institutions representing different sectors in providing support programs for families and children
  • Childhood research – new approaches and their application

II. COOPERATION OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS WITH SOCIAL WELFARE SERVICES IN SUPPORTING CHILD AND YOUTH WELLBEING

  • Participation of local communities in supporting the wellbeing of children and adolescents

  • Social participation of children, adolescents, families and its risks (exclusion)
