Collaborators

Reggio Children s.r.l. was founded in Reggio Emilia (Italy) in 1994 to promote and defend children’s rights and to organise the pedagogical and cultural exchanges already taking place between Reggio Emilia’s municipal early childhood centres and teachers, academics and researchers from around the world.

On a local, national and international levels, Reggio Children:

. .organizes professional development initiatives (Reggio Children is a recognized Agency for Professional Development)
. .promotes research projects with universities and other entities on an international level
. .realises consulting work in the educational field
. .participates in co-operation initiatives with childhood institutions in several countries
. .produces publications, which have been translated into 21 languages
. .manages several travelling exhibitions, including “The Hundred Languages of Children” and “The Wonder of Learning”, as well as exhibitions shown at the Loris Malaguzzi International Centre
. .manages and coordinates activities and projects at the Loris Malaguzzi International Centre in collaboration with other promoting agencies, including the City Atelier spaces for exploring and learning.

The Reggio Children International Network was established in 2006 and is made up of references in the countries (currently 32) which have collaborated longest and in stable ways with Reggio Children on the realisation of initiatives and activities.
