This report presents the aims and conceptual background for the ISOTIS data collection framework. The framework elaborates on relevant resources, experiences, aspirations, needs and well-being of children and parents with a Romani, Turkish, North-African, and native low-income background across Europe. Building on Bronfenbrenner’s bioecological approach to human development, children’s and parents’ perspectives are contextualised in the scope of acculturation and integration.
